Adele dispensed with her usual black outfits for a vivid flowery number at the Grammy awards – but would you dare to wear her outfit?

If there’s one thing you can rely on when it comes to awards ceremonies, it’s that if Adele is invited she’ll turn up wearing something black. Be it 2012 Grammy Awards, Brits, Golden Globes, you name it – the chart-topping singer never fails to pull something monochromatic from the wardrobe and strike a black-clad pose on the red carpet.

So it was to everybody’s immense surprise at the 2013 Grammy Awards this week when she ditched the black uniform in favour of something altogether more, well, eye-catching – this vivid red floral print knee-length number, to be precise.
